Vita familiare, reciprocità e diversità

The paper analyzes the challenges of modern life, increasingly characterized by diversity. Among the approval and the development of rigid identities, it is proposed to form a dialoguing identity, able to meet the diversity. The educational task of composing integration and belonging, but also novelty and memory, is built through mutual understanding and intercultural dialogue. In this perspective, the family is presented as a fundamental educational subject, because it bases its identity on the principle of unity in diversity, by the meeting of otherness. This requires to the family a planning capacity, with the aim of taking the diversity in a generative sense.
