The paper presents some poetic texts that can be used from the very first lessons of Russian as a second language. Thanks to the compact form, the rhythm and the rhyme they turn to be very easy to pronounce, repeat and remember and, if chosen properly, prove to be an excellent tool to discuss the culture.
