Piuttosto che i dialetti, insegniamo l'italiano

In Italy some proposals have been made by politicians to teach dialects at school. In the present paper a different proposal is made, which considers the fact that young people in Italy are often unable to use Standard Italian correctly. This suggests that the teaching of Standard Italian should receive more attention.
